The NZ All Blacks skipper, Richie McCaw described as the greatest rugby player on the planet, is proving himself to be a real warrior and will play through the pain barrier, surviving on painkillers and willpower for the rest of the Rugby World Cup. Then, and only then, he will get the rest he has needed for the injured foot, which was fractured a few months ago and required a screw at one stage. That is the price a professional footballer has to pay in the modern era.
