New Zealand police based in Jakarta are assisting Indonesian police to hunt down suicide bombers who killed nine people including a NZ born businessman.
Suspected Islamist terrorists blew up the Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott luxury hotels in the upmarket business district of Jakarta on Friday, also injuring another 50 people.
Kiwi Mr Tim Mackay, aged 62 years was the president director of Swiss owned cement maker, Holcim Indonesia; two Australian businessmen were part of the number of nine killed as well.
