Rugby World Cup semi-finalsts found...

October 8th 2007 04:08

The Rugby World cup semi-finalists found - favourite New Zealand All Blacks knocked out again, along with Australia, Scotland and Fiji.

NZ have only won the inaugural World Cup in 1987 in New Zealand, and continue to lose these one off games, despite beating every other rugby nation in between.

The Brazil of rugby union, as the French called them, were narrowly beaten 18-20 by France, after injuries, a failure to change the game plan in the second half, and a couple of strange refereeing decisions; they went down to the host nation, after beating them in their last seven encounters.

Next week, South Africa, France, Argentina, and England who toppled Australia again, will play off next week to decide the finalists.

Next week: The finalists.
