The continuing story of the NZ anti-smacking bill

April 10th 2007 05:07
The continuing story of the NZ anti-smacking bill.

With Parliament in recess, the outcome of this piece of intended legislation will be delayed. The governing majority party in this MMP Parliament could have adopted the bill as its own -it is actually a private members bill. But it appears it is taking some notice of public disquiet with the bill.

It is also of particular interest that Australia is on the verge of discussing this particular topic. I will post on this once some information is available in a few weeks.Until later friends!
